Have you come across Michelle Tea’s book Knocking Myself Up? It came out this year. It’s an honest account of her fertility journey as a queer woman, told from a trans-inclusive perspective. Not sure if she’s ND though. I enjoyed it as a queer woman starting the fertility journey as well.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful article. A creator who is neurodivergent (not trans but I understand her to be an ally) is Annie Crowe. She had the same experience of googling autism and pregnancy and finding the same things you did. She is currently going through secondary infertility. She has a podcast (princess and the pea) and instagram account
Such a beautiful, honest, and touching read. Thank you for being your unmasked self with us, AJ, and sharing the truth of this struggle with us. As an ND person who has PMDD, I can't imagine all of this on top of that. Sending you so much love and holding hope for you. ❤️🙏🏾❤️
I know of one book about pregnancy and motherhood written by an autistic writer, but I can't remember if there's anything in it about fertility issues. The title is from here to maternity by Lana Grant and I've checked back on my review and I think it's more about the birth process than the parts before. Hope that's helpful.
Thanks so much, AJ, for sharing your experience with trying to get pregnant. I have never wanted children, and am now through menopause, so this topic is completely new to me. I greatly appreciate your clear and eloquent descriptions of what you go through, because now I am aware of this struggle and can educate myself so I can better support other autistic and trans people confronted with both the emotional and physical challenges of it that tend to happen more to autistic and trans people, and also the cultural marginalization of being autistic, trans, or both, that adds so many extra completely unnecessary obstacles to the process. And though you didn't discuss this directly, I would imagine there are many ways that racial/ethnic oppression adds to the challenge, as well. I don't have any resources or suggestions for support, but I wish you the best as you go through this, and am honored to be your witness to any of it that you choose to share here. 🙏🏼
Thank you so much, LC, I really appreciate your kind words. And yes, to the racial/ethnic oppression adding to the challenge. Thanks for being here and supporting me.

Thank you, Cecile, I hadn't come across it and will look it up. Appreciate the recommendation.

Thank you for the recommendation, Emmeline, I'm aware of Annie but didn't know she had had this experience- I'll check out her podcast.

Thanks, Jax. If I get to that stage, I'll be sure to check it out.
No problem. Can't think of any other books that might be helpful but I'll keep an eye out. It's ludicrous that there are so few resources for us.
Perhaps we will write them.
